and I would have finished much earlier had I not mismarked my hem line and therefore sewn the pockets on the wrong place, which, of course, I had to rip out and re sew. I can't remember if I've ever made anything where I didn't have to rip out something!
Any way it's finished - well, almost. I just slid in some shoulder pads for the pix, but need to pick up some black covered raglan pads. But, other than that, it is finished.
Next up, the pink and brown dress, and then shorts.

Now that was fast! I like the jacket and it looks very good on you.
Cute jacket. I love that color on you and, yes, you were fast!
Very nice, Nancy! This jacket looks spectacular with your hair and vice versa! Isn't it fun to sew something you don't need to FIT!
No, I don't think I've ever sewn anything that didn't need something fixed... Well, anyhow, nothing I would wear afterwards!
What a beautiful jacket and style on you! the color is gorgeous on you too.
Me too- always rip out something. Think I have some kind of agreement with myself... maybe one day I'll find out what that is so it can stop lol. In the meantime I'm just grateful they make seam rippers.
Just beautiful! I love this jacket! It looks fantastic!
That is such a cute little jacket, great job.
This ia agreat summer jacket. I love the colour/fabric you chose and the pleat at the back makes it look really interesting from the back too.
I love this style on you, you look great.
Great jacket, it'll be perfect for the island breeze!
Lovely, so beautiful on you. And with me the seam ripper is never very far away too.
Lovely jacket - it looks great on you!

Nancy .- nice jacket. enjoy it. I love the color of the fabric and style, of course, is very similar to garments which I usually like to do. greetings, Paco
This is adorable, Nancy!
Nancy, you outdid yourself. I LOVE that jacket on you. Nice work!
Lovely jacket Nancy! It looks really nice on you. I am always ripping too, I don't seem to show any propensity toward overcoming this characteristic either, so I guess seam rippers will remain one of my most important sewing tools.
