Fun ad! thanks for posting this. I don't think I've ever, in my lifetime, seen a TV commercial for a sewing machine. Times have changed! And to make an "evening gown" the fist time out! How impressive!
OMG, I learned to sew at the Singer store in the 1960's! I just wasn't as ambitious, I made a brown plaid skirt and wool top in royal blue.
