McCall's February 1936

I was having a really bad day today. I came home and sat on the floor in my bathroom looking for something and found an old box. When I opened it, it was a bunch of old documents from my mother's highschool. I have often thought of throwing this box away. Today I decided to look in it and look what I found! Just thought I'd share.

I love those dresses, especially the ones with the cutouts on the bodice. What a wonderful find; you could frame some for your sewing room.

All I can say is 'wow' - I love those styles. I have the book "The Way We Wore" and some of the dresses that the woman who wrote it - a HOllywood movie actress of the 30s and 40s - wore several dresses very much like the ones in those pictures.

WoW!
I too, especially noticed the page with the "cut-outs" on the bodice/under the arm - I thought THAT one was especially intriguing. It's somewhat reminiscent of that Ralf Rucci Vogue pattern.
Thanks for sharing, and I hope today is better for you.
